If you haven’t heard of Cafe Leche yet, the best time to head over there and enjoy their food and drinks is right now.
They have a nice variety of menu items, but most of them are brunch dishes. We ordered eggs Benedict and a cheese, bacon, and ham omelette with a side of toast. My omelette came with a simple salad, as well. One very important thing to note when you’re getting breakfast or brunch here: Cafe Leche bakes their own bread, and it does not disappoint!

For drinks, we both got iced tea. Give it a good stir before you take a sip – the syrup settles at the bottom.
As we were walking in the cafe, we saw the desserts display and immediately decided we’d cap off the meal with some sweets. The tres leches caught our eye because of the interesting plating. It’s served in a wide-mouthed bottle. It’s light and buttery, as tres leches should be. They topped it off with some nuts, which added a nice texture to it.

We also got a very pretty slice of carrot cake! One slice is a hefty serving, so you may want to share it with a friend. We’re already planning on coming back to try their other menu items – salads, rice meals, and sandwiches, plus all the desserts we wanted to taste but didn’t have room for.

Cafe Leche is located at 217 Bonifacio Residences, along Upper Bonifacio Street. They’re open from 10am to 8pm on weekdays (except Thursday, when they’re closed) and 9am to 8pm on weekends. See more on their Facebook page.
